When the idea for this site was first born, we wanted to provide a means of supplying good quality information to those people who don’t have time to read a whole book. In this modern world, we all need reliable information (and there’s a lot of rubbish available on the uncontrolled internet) but we only have small bits of available time to wade through it. So the concept of “a little bit at a time” was born.
There is an old saying that the key to success is to break up a huge insurmountable problem into small manageable pieces. Then someone (we don’t know who) made a joke about how an ant could eat an elephant (one bite at a time); a few motivational books came out on the same topic, and soon the phrase “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time” was coined.
We, at Fundisi.com, feel the concept is so appropriate to modern-day pressures, that we have included it on our masthead. Our main emphasis is, therefore, short “bite-sized” courses that contain concise essential information without wasting time.
